Founded in 1839, this remarkable museum contains ancient Egyptian artifacts such as mummies, vases, hieroglyphics, jewelry, and sarcophagi. There's also a remnant of a statue of Ramses II, the pharaoh who enslaved the Hebrews during the time of the Exodus.
